Many benefits of blind and buried holes
Many PCB boards are small and have limited space, so blind and buried holes provide more space and options for boards. For example, buried through holes will help free up space on the plate surface without affecting surface components or wiring on top or bottom. Blind holes can help free up some extra space. They are commonly used for fine-pitch BGA components. Since the blind hole only passes through part of the board, this also means less signal residue.
